ASSOCIATES & RESOURCES PEOPLE
We are dedicated to continued equine wellness from a balanced, holistic approach and as such are pleased to highlight the services of the following associates:
HOMEOPATHY FOR HORSES:
Ivana Holub H.D.d.h.s.(med) offers an alternative and complimentary approach to the treatment of various equine health problems through Homeopathy. She received her diploma in Homeopathic Science and Medicine in 1999 from The Hahnemann College of Homeopathy (York University) & the Toronto School of Homeopathy (University of Toronto) and has done much of her pre-med training at Guelph University. She has worked as a Veterinary Technician for a number of years utilizing her skills with both large and small animals.
Her knowledge and experience in the benefits of homeopathy for equine health is impressive. We are honoured to have her as part of our resource team.
Kelly Jacobsen of Hands High offers certified Saddle Fitting services to English and Western riders and offers a sensitive and educated approach to incorporating correct saddle fit in your horse’s care, training and development. Kelly's knowledge and commitment to equine wellness incorporates a whole-horse perspective.
Equine chiropractic care is a holistic approach to many of the health and performance problems of the horse. Chiropractic does not replace traditional veterinary medicine and surgery, but provides an alternative method of care.
We have worked with two excellent local Equine Chiropractors (certified through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association) and would be happy to refer them. Please contact us for more information.
Kelly Jacobsen (Hands High) and Johanna Neuteboom (BARNBOOTS) are both certified in Equine Sports Massage Therapy and provide associated massage services that can make a significant difference to the overall well being of your horse and your own riding achievements.
Debi Austin, Parelli Level 3/4 Student
Debi joins us to co-offer our Horse Play – Savvy Club gathering, where we offer regular "play dates" for local horse people interested in getting together with their equine partners to share knowledge and resources, as well as simply ride and train together. Deb is attending the first stage of the Parelli Instructor Certification program in 2010 and is a valuable resource.
