![]() HORSESITTING SERVICESOffering peace of mind to horse owners As everyone who looks after their own horses knows, leaving them in order to take a vacation or go away on business is often difficult. How can you be sure the care they have in your absence is every bit as good as your own? While no one can fill your shoes (or boots as the case may be), knowing you’ve employed a horse savvy stand-in in your absence is money well spent.
Horse sitting services If you are planning a vacation, or simply looking for someone to be able to step in on occasion, give me a call. I always enjoy speaking with other horse people! We can discuss what your needs are and, if it sounds mutually satisfactory, arrange for a meeting at your location to discuss more details. This tour of your barn facilities is a chance for us to exchange further information, discuss your expectations, and especially for me to meet your animals ($20.00 fee applies – but is credited on the first horse sitting service). In order to provide you with the best possible service and an accurate estimate of fees, it is helpful for you to give some extra thought and planning to your normal routine, and write out the schedule and duties you wish me to follow. It is also important that I be aware of any health issues, each horse’s unique personality, your preferred order of care, and any other special concerns. Whether you simply need someone to do the evening chores on occasion so that you can enjoy a night out, or are planning your dream vacation, I can help. I am happy to stop by once a day to check on your pastured horses, or live at your location to provide residential security in addition to full service professional equine management. In addition to having had experience caring for horses all my life, I am a Natural Hoof Care Practitioner, certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist and am currently enrolled in the University of Guelph’s Equine Science Certificate program. My passion for horses extends to every equine I meet and my goal is to treat your animals as my own until your return. Go out for a night, a weekend or a vacation – Get a life!
